Bylaws: Membership

  1. Qualification for Membership
    1. Any nurse who has satisfactorily completed a formal post-basic educational program, with the primary purpose of such a program being to prepare nurses for advanced and specialized practice, or has passed an appropriate certification examination, such as an ARNP or CNS, shall be eligible for membership in the Council of Advanced Practice Nurses OR:
    2. Any nurse "certified/licensed" as an ARNP/CNS/CNM/CRNA by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
  2. Qualifications for Associate Membership
    1. Nurses currently enrolled in post-basic education programs with the primary purpose of such a program being to prepare nurses for advanced and specialized practice. These members are not entitled to vote or hold an office.
